Health, Sanitation and Nutrition
To improve health outcomes, high quality health care services, supplies and interventions need be effectively and efficiently coordinated to benefits both individuals and populations. Interventions that address existing knowledge, access and use gaps need be evidence based and interventions tailored in a manner to derive maximum benefits from the services, products and interventions. Our focus spans HIV, MNCH, Sexual and Reproductive Health, non-communicable diseases conditions and gender-based violence.
Agriculture, Sustainable Livelihoods and Climate Change
Livelihoods comprises the capabilities, assets and activities required for a means of living. When it can cope and recover from stresses and shocks it is deemed sustainable. Our assessment activities focus on people development activities, systems, policies and institutions that help lead to more income, increased well-being, reduce vulnerability and improved food security among populations. Our experts evaluate interventions aim at building community resilience, capacity to cope with vulnerabilities including climate change adaptive mechanisms. Focus: agriculture, trade, ICT, economic surveys, Nutrition, climate adaptation and community resilience among other livelihood related options.
Education and Social Services
Through our research and evaluation support to our clients, we promote inclusive and equitable quality education. Focus: education access, retention and quality.
Gender and Adolescents Programs
At Max Honors, we will provide the needed expertise to assess gaps, underlying cause and drivers of gender inequalities and adolescent needs. Our findings will provide the needed recommendation and guidance to gender integrated and responsive programs for women and youth. We also evaluate the impact of GBV prevention programs, measuring change over time in harmful social norms and personal beliefs that maintain and tolerate sexual violence and other forms of GBV against women and girls in low resource and complex humanitarian settings in line with clients’ program being implemented.
Skilling and employability
We recognize that demand – supply mismatch is a central issue in skilling and employability programs. At Max Honors, we will help establish gaps and baselines to guide robust programing for adolescents and youth skilling and employability programs and evaluate your impact.
